Is procreate compatible with my ipad?

I own a ipad mini 4th generation that has been upgraded to an iPados 15. This is my first apple product that I bought strictly for drawing and I was told that if I bought procreate it would not be the latest version or that it's not compatible with my iPad. I checked the app store and it said that procreate is compatible with this device so I wanted to know if were to buy procreate would i get the full version seeing as the ipad was upgraded to the newest iOS 15 or would I be purchasing an older version?

iPad mini 4, iPadOS 15

Enough with all of this nonsense.

Procreate IS compatible with an iPad Mini 4.

Period.

While an iPad Mini 4 is NOT compatible with ANY Apple Pencils, Procreate is still compatible with that iPad Mini 4 and you can either use your finger or a “non-bluetooth”, “dumb”, “purchase anywhere”, third party capactive stylus that simulates a finger touch.

Plenty of these “dumb” capacitive stylii to be found.

Also, so-called, powered. active, battery powered, non-bluetooth, fine point stylii that also work like a finger touch but are more precise, but still a “dumb” stylus.

All thr stylii mentioned have NO screen pressure sensitivity for light to dark/thin to thick lines NOR any hand palm rejection.

You do not necessarily need to have use of a compatible Apple Pencil to use the Procreate drawing app.

For palm rejection with “dumb” stylii, you would need to purchase and use special, non-body electrical conducting, lycra-based material drawing/writing glove that works by isolating your hand/palm and allow you to lay your hand/palm on the screen as you draw in these non-compatible Adonit stylus apps.

Something like these found on Amazon.

Many more makers of these types of gloves found on Amazon and in different hand sizes, as well!

Iam not sure what you mean by it has been upgraded to iPadOS 15 everybody that owns an iPad mini 4 can update to IPadOS 15 for free without any problems because the device supports it. An iPad mini of the 4th generation isn’t really an option if you want to use it for drawing due to it not being compatible with an Apple Pencil. Sure you could use a third party pencil but that’s not really good. So yeah sure you can download it but it’s not really compatible if you know what I mean.
