There is no beacon functionality nor location services in the remote. You’ll have to search the old fashioned way.
Consider placing a remote not-in-use in a default location. Verify that it is out of reach from small children and pets that might carry it elsewhere.
Consider AirTags for items that you want to be able to locate electronically. It was recently mentioned on this forum that some third party remote cover/case has a designated space for AirTag. Neat!
