Translate icon missing in Safari browser.

Am using latest version of Safari, have added and removed languages from settings, but still no translate icon appears. Massively frustrating, hence me using Chrome all the time. I just want a simple fix. How, in God's name, do I put the icon back in the search bar?

Hello Scripter27,

Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

If a webpage can be translated into one of your preferred languages, Safari would present the option to translate it; however, if it's not available then the option wouldn't show. Check out the steps below for assistance with using this feature and more information can also be found here: Translate a webpage in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

Translate a webpage

1. In the Safari app on your Mac, go to the webpage you want to translate.
If the webpage can be translated, the Smart Search field displays the Translate button .

2. Click the Translate button , then choose a language.

If you think the translation might need improvement, click the Translate button , then choose Report Translation Issue. The translation is sent to Apple for review.

If that resource isn't helpful, Contact Apple Support to look into this with you in more detail.

Cheers!
