Clearing data from app on iPad and appletv

My hgtv app(and another one I can’t remember) will not let me view programming on my devices even though it says I am signed into tv provider and I have that program on my tv package. I called my tv provider and she said I might need to clear data. It won’t allow me to log out when I am on the app. When I log out in the setting and back in this app still tells me I can’t view it - some code error 403. This is on my ipad, iPhone and appletv. My other apps which I stream are fine such as espn, food network, etc. what do I need to do?

Deleting and re-installing the app would clear all its associated data, if no other clearing options are provided.
