My iPhone 8+ has begun randomly resetting ringer & alert volumes to zero.

My iPhone 8+ has started resetting both ringer & alert volumes to zero. Sometimes it is within minutes of me correcting it & other times it takes hours. For me, this is a critical issue as I am an anesthesiologist & on call very frequently. I cannot have an unreliable device & potentially not be awakened due to some glitch.

Please help.

Lock the ringer and alert volumes in Settings

Go to Settings .
Tap Sounds & Haptics (on supported models) or Sounds (on other iPhone models).
Turn off Change with Buttons.

Try, "change with buttons" option, [Disabled]
