Iphone 13 Pro max - Network Selection option is missing in the Celluar section. Has anyone managed to fix this issue and if so, what exactly did you do to make it reappear? HELP!
Carriers in the US have either shut down all of their legacy networks or are in the process of doing so. The only network now supported is LTE for data and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) for voice. Thus, there is no point in having Network Selection anymore because there aren’t any other networks to select. The network selection option is determined by a Carrier Settings file provided by your carrier that is installed in your phone when you first access their network.
Specifically, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint now only support LTE. Verizon is phasing out 3G, CDMA and EVDO over the rest of this year.
