MacBook Air M1 thunderbolt 2 daisy chain question

Hello, everyone!

Currently I have a MacBook Pro 2015 daisy chained with thunderbolt 2 on a LaCie 2big and a 27" thunderbolt Cinema Display. My question is: is it possible to do the same with a MacBook Air M1 instead of the MacBook Pro 2015?

What's your suggestions? I just want to update the computer and keep my peripherals.

Any help or input is appreciated. Thanks!

take a look at this:

Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter - Apple

Supports genuine thunderBolt devices ONLY, and does not pass power. There are so many footnotes, they needed a whole 'nother article:

About the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter
