ipad OS 15 not syncing from library

Latest OS. However, I can only see downloaded music on my iPad in the Music App.

I'm not just selecting the 'Downloaded' Music on the app, but have selected 'Albums'

All of the help on the web talks about turning off music sync, but that's not an option under iPad OS 15.5.

I just want to be able to stream from my iCloud library to my iPad like I do on the iPhones and Macs, but this one piece of hardware just won't seem to allow me.

It also hasn't synced any of my playlists from my Music iCloud account either, and I've never synced via the USB cable on my iMad either, it's always been cloud based.

I've not subscribed to Apple Music, just to the Music Match service instead and, as I said, all my other devices seem to be working fine.

Is there anything obvious that I may have missed?
