Chinese dual physical SIM iPhones
Can these iPhone Chinese models (eg iPhone 13 Pro A2639 variant) use eSIM services when travelling outside China or are they only capable of using actual physical SIMS cards? Thank you.

Thanks, but this does not answer the question (I have looked at the Apple pages). The first part is about iPhones in Hong Kong (not mainland China) and the second is talking about "normal" iPhone 13s that have a single SIM tray (such as in the UK, where you got the information). Mine is a very specific question about dual SIM tray iPhones sold in mainland China.

Do you use 100 carriers?
Then it is NO.

If only it were that straightforward! As they say, ask a question in China and get 100 answers. It is very hard to pin down exact and correct information on such matters. I am hoping somebody who has travelled from China using one of these phones can simply tell me whether they were able to use eSIM services of not. I think that is the only definitive way to be certain one way or the other. It is frustrating that none of the articles / web info I have found addresses this simple question. FWIW I think the answer is no, but I would like to be certain.
Umm, I don't know what point you are trying to make, but thank you for your sincerely for your time in trying to answer my question. I appreciate it. If anyone knows the actual answer for sure, then do please let me know. Thank you.
For sure: ask your carrier.
