Monterey Finder cannot load iPhone
Right out of the blue, when I connect my iPhone to my Mac, the iPhone will appear on the sidebar but nothing is loading in the main window. At best, I might get the header information (showing iPhone model, capacity, spare space in storage), or, at other times, nothing at all.
Incidentally, Photos app also fails to load, yesterday it seemed fine.
In the Music app, iPhone appears on the side when I hook it up, but no further info is displayed in the main window, only the "Sync Settings" button top right, which takes you to the Finder, which, as mentioned above, shows the iPhone as mounted, but displays nada.
I am using latest software on both machines, if I'm not mistaken. The Mac is the last and highest spec 13" Intel MacBook Pro that Apple produced two years ago. It's a £2,600 machine. Apple. It just doesn't work.
Any help would be appreciated.
