Can not log in! (Keyboard? FileVault?)

MacBook 2017, OS 11.6.5

I get the login screen. Trackpad works, can choose my user. Then: no keys work. Well, actually "return" works and arrows work, so pressing return gets the "headshake". Can choose input etc., but not write my password.

Can zap Pran/NVRAM and start into recovery. In recovery, changing password works, i.e., keyboard functional. Can not unlock FileVault (bought used, do not have recovery key). (Behaviour same with external and laptop keyboard)

Can not reinstall OS:

Big Sur: "-2003F"

Monterey: "You may not install on this volume as it is being currently decrypted"

Please halp! (TimeMachine backup is quite old .. wouldn't you guess it...).

MacBook, macOS 11.6

A - Return it to Original Owner for a full refund

A - This is what should have been done by Original Owner Before making the computer available for re-sale

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac
