Move --not copy-- folders from Mac local storage to iCloud
I'm trying to move, not copy, some large folders to iCloud – eg Pictures which is a whopping 72GB.
The Pictures folder however, is still on my MacBook Air. The iCloud Drive is now almost full.
How can I quickly move specific folders out of local storage and into iCloud (not iCloud Drive) to free up space on my HD?
I want to be able to just drag the folder to iCloud, but the only option to drag is into iCloud Drive, which of course still keeps a copy on my Mac. 🙄
I already have Optimise Storage ticked:
In any event, right-clicking the folder only offers the option to copy the folder, not move it - why is that? Why isn't it possible to easy move things from local to iCloud from the Finder? You can with things like Dropbox etc?
Thanks,
Raph
