iPhone 11 base model - IOS 15.5
Whenever I click a link to a YouTube video on safari, it always opens in safari, not the youtube app.
I've seen solutions saying "hold the link and tap 'open in youtube'" but I don't see any option for that when I hold the link. (See attached image)
I assume this is due to those solutions being for IOS 14 and not 15. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is this the only app affected? If so, try step 4 from this article: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open
Reinstalling the affected app may help correct the way links open from Safari.

Are you looking at external links on different websites? Let's try one where you just search for a YouTube video using Google in Safari to see if you're able to see the option to "Open in YouTube" while holding down on the link.

No, this is not the only app effected. For instance pixiv also doesn't open the app. Actually the only app that seems to work is reddit
As I said in my original post, there is no "open in youtube" option when I hold the link. Also other websites besides Google still don't open the app. They all just stay in safari
