Call Forwarding Toggle Automatic Turns Off

Recently, the call forwarding toggle on my iPhone 11 running IOS 15.5, automatically turns off when leave the page (i.e if I go back, then into wifi for example, when I go back to the call forwarding page the toggle would be turned off). In order for the toggle to be kept on, I need to stay on that page and keep it part of the active tabs, if i swipe up to clear the tabs then the toggle will turn off again. Please help

This feature needs to be enabled by your Carrier.

Call Forwarding is a Carrier Specific feature. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.

It was working for me before for like 2 years only now it started acting up, I am still with the same carrier. I think its the new updates fault but im not too sure
