Facebook market place crashing on iPad mini

This has been an on going issue for about a month and getting worse Facebook market place causes black screen and total crash to the point I have to enter passcode on my iPad mini again. Black screen to please enter passcode.


All the standard troubleshooting steps has not addressed it. Forced shutdown, update os and app, full power down, shutting down all other apps running, waiting for page to load before doing anything.


it’s been like this for a couple months and OS and app have gone through several upgrades. I am not sure if the iPad mini 4 is out of memory or what.

We recommend making sure you've covered all of the steps below to help get your app working properly again:


1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
 
2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
 
3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.
 
4. Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Uninstalling and downloading both apps would be the next step. This will help get a fresh copy of the app installed and may help resolve this issue.
