Hi, I just got my device 1 week ago. My friend, who has been an iPhone user for years noticed that I don’t have that light blinking on my device? I searched a lot about it but I couldn’t find any answers. I hope this Apple community will help me.
The only light that emits visible light is the flash.
On the front is an infrared emiter used for proximity detection and an infrared illuminator used for Face ID.
Since they are infrared, you aren't supposed to be able to see it.

Thank you for your response. So, you mean infrared light on my iphone is not visible, but what’s the light I saw in my friend’s phone blinking in red and sometimes in green. Near front cam.
