mute apps during a call

• What device are you using? Is it an iPad or iPhone?
• What is the OS version installed?
• To clarify, are you looking to silence notifications from other apps? For example, during a call, an alarm you had set goes off, or a reminder from Calendars provides an alert. Are you looking to silence these types of notifications? If not, please provide an example of the behavior so we can research your options.
