Well I did the latest Security update, and my 12 mini froze up during it. Finally got it restarted, but now then had the Cellular issue pop. (Everything else worked.) After an hour + at T-Mobile; then an hour + at the Apple Store, I was told too bad, I could spend $300 for them to try and replace everything but the display; or buy a new phone. AND no trader-in value on the 12 mini (which I am still paying on.) Not a happy camper with Apple at all.
