Renamed HD icon.

After software update, the HD icon on my desktop renamed itself (MacBook Pro). Why? Can i revert to the original name?

Highlight it and change it like any other file/folder/drive....(?)

Rename files, folders, and disks on Mac - Apple Support

There is really no practical reason to have the "Macintosh HD" on the Desktop taking up valuable screen real estate, this is a hold over from antiquity

Finder>Preferences>General>Hard disk
