Why am I getting receipts in French? I'm in Canada. In the past my receipts have been in English. Settings are still set to Canada (English).

You mentioned settings are set to English. Since it isn’t clear which settings those are, we’re going to ask you to check a couple things, to help isolate some of the places this setting could be controlled.
1. At the Apple ID website, sign in and under Personal Information, is that set to English? Manage your Apple ID
2. In the iTunes/App Store on your device, are you noticing things there are still in English?
3. Are you using any type of VPN software that might be redirecting your network connection? If so, please temporarily remove it and restart your device.

Same thing started happening to me. Always set to English but now all my receipts are in French. I went in and even switched my language around and then back to English with no luck.
Did you try contacting iTunes Support using the links I posted above?
I'm getting same thing. My settings are (and always have been ENGLISH) and my receipt emails (music, family sharing etc) are now coming into my email in French....pretty sure it's on apple's side not my settings.
I had a look at more settings. I haven't changed any language settings recently. Everything appears to be set to English, but this is Canada so I don't know if Apple recognizes that Canada has French as an official language. I made a point of buying a song to see what the receipt would say. It just came back in French. I would have replied to your responses sooner but I was waiting on this reciept.
