Mouse cursor is frozen

I have been setting up a new Mac Studio with new monitor. I have completed a migration from my iMac. I got an error message upon completion that some bluetooth files failed to load. The Mouse cursor is frozen in the upper left corner and I tried various things like rebooting and others from the Mac community discussions. I cannot continue the setup with no mouse.

bro,

Thank you for your effort. I fixed the problem with the mouse by connecting hard wire, waiting for it to pair and then disconnecting. It fixed the problem. I also found that the keyboard would not print letters in Microsoft Office. I fixed it by just re-registering my account. I am in OS Monterey 12.5.

Hi rwege,

Sorry you have had this difficulty with your new hardware.

We are all Apple users, like yourself.

Wondering which Mac OS is installed.

(Bit hard to check with no functioning mouse!)

Guess you have tried clicking the mouse a few times to see if it re-connects.

If the mouse has batteries, you have likely checked they are ok, too.

Seems it may be best to first contact Apple Mac Studio Support (eg: about the missing files.)
