I'm able to sign in and all seems okay but I received an email on the 12th stating I will receive a call on the 25th around 3:01 PM CDT when the account is ready to recover. How do I cancel this scheduled account recovery?

Canceling Account Recovery Help Hello, I am faced with the issue of not being able to cancel an account recovery I did not create. Yesterday, Thursday, June 1, I got an email concerning a Account recovery. The issue is, I did not do this, not only that but when I click the ‘cancel account recovery’ link/button/hyperlink. It brings me to a page that says, “cannot verify account”. Looking into it, it’s signed out, everytime I click the link I am signed out, so that could be the issue, but everytime I login elsewhere or on the page link and try to re-click nothing is working. I cannot cancel this account recovery that was sent to me. I thought about changing my passcodes, deleting everything, changing the ID and possibly deleting the account all-together. What do I do?

How to cancel "An account recovery request was made for your Apple ID" I received an email that "An account recovery request was made for your Apple ID" from an unknown phone number and location I have never been to. And that this new unknown phone number will receive a text in a month to reset my account. When I click the red link within "If you did not make this request or do not recognise the information shown above, you should cancel account recovery immediately to keep your account secure." it brings me to the: Cannot Verify Account We apologize but we are unable to verify your account information online. Even if I login on that page and try the link again I still get that repeated message. How do I stop myself from, what I believe is, getting my account taken over by this unknown person? Thanks!

Email received: 'An account recovery request was made for your Apple ID' - however I haven't made any such request! Someone else is clearly trying to gain access to my Apple ID today. The email received gives a contact phone number (which of course isn't mine) and it says that that the bogus number will receive a text message or phone call in about 3 weeks time to an American number in a city which I've never been to as I live in a completely different continent. The email goes on to say that I can 'cancel account recovery' which I would like to do as it's not me making the request, however, when I click on the link, it just takes me to an Apple page saying that my account cannot be verified. Please can someone tell me how to permanently cancel this bogus request? And how to secure my account to stop this being able to happen again? And also any advice will be much appreciated on how to secure my Apple ID generally as I'm clearly under some kind of attack. Yesterday I received an earlier email from Apple asking me to verify my email address as a request had been made to reset my password or unlock my account and the email contained a 6-digit code and again of course it wasn't me making the request. Only I know my existing Apple ID password and I am in control of all my devices. I welcome any advice that anyone can give please. Thanks very much indeed.

Please check the email. It should have instructions on how to cancel or change an appointment.

You signing in cancels Account Recovery.
