iPhone 12 Pro Max overheating badly

So it seems many others are having similar issues. I’m wondering when there’s going to be a fix for this. It nearly gets too hot to touch, when it’s been charging. This is been an issue for the roast month or so. Not sure how that lines up with other updates, which may have resulted in the overheating. Updated to 15.6.1 today, and that didn’t resolve it.

I’m tired of the screen constantly dimming and not being able to touch the iPhone from the back, because it’s so hot.
