Hello, I have not had any of my photos appear on my Mac since March. Everything seems to be "on" on all my devices and photos appear from my iphone to my ipad, shared and otherwise, but not to my MAC. Can you help?s.

I am having trouble getting any photos to appear on my Mac even though everything seems to be "on" on my devices and photos appear on both my iphone and ipad.

Hi there bkrkk822,

If you are using iCloud Photos and the photos are showing on your iPhone and iPad, first check the iCloud website here to ensure that the photos are being uploaded to iCloud.

If the photos are showing in the Photos app on the iCloud website, follow these steps from Set up and use iCloud Photos to set up iCloud Photos on your Mac:

1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences.
2. Click Apple ID.
3. Click iCloud in the sidebar, then select Photos.

If you have an earlier version of macOS, go to System Preferences > iCloud. Click Options next to Photos, then select iCloud Photos.

If you are still unable to see your iCloud Photos on your Mac, please let us know what exactly happens when you open the Photos app and if you are getting an error of some kind.

Cheers!

Hi

Is your library set as the system library in preferences? (circled button should be greyed out)

I cloud turned on in the iCloud tab?

Is there a sync ongoing? What does sync status say at the bottom of all photos view? (Should be updated just now)

How much free space do you have on your Mac? and in iCloud?

Where is your library stored? If on an external drive, what is the format?
