Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware if it is updated to the latest iOS/iPadOS unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device or/and have Jailbroken

Be careful when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

Thumb Rules:

  1. Enable  Guided Access before handing over an iPhone to kids
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jailbreak
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device and payment methods
  5. Beware of Phishing

Losingmyfaith

all from experience so.. change your screen name to keeping my faith after this

Don’t get stressed out-gonna be fine what you’re gonna wanna do and this is what I did and I’m level 1

1. you’re gonna want to factory reset your phone through a computer do not take anything from back up not even contacts. (Please note: From experience that’s where my spyware sat when I put only contacts on my freshly reset device )

2. Start a new Apple account on a device that’s not infected

3. Write down all your contacts or back them up with your cell service provider.

4. In my opinion I would take your phone in and have them wipe it cost me about $10 for them to do it and wipe the device back to complete factory settings . A complete wipe! you don’t wanna do it just from your phone you wanna do it on a computer. With an Apple program I believe I used itunes . wouldn’t use my own computer to do it Unless you have really good software for malware and viruses protection . If you want to do this yourself I can give you directions from straight from Apple but you’re probably in panic mode like I was

sometimes your cell phone service provider can reset your device for you But I would just go to Apple store Make an appointment online Not with your phone or infected device !

go from there Or just go straight to your cell phone service provider to the nearest store This is what I’ve done and it’s worked for me fine you might lose some information but it’s well worth it they might tell you there’s protection against your contacts and your photos and they’re backed up differently on iCloud. … they are backed up differently but there’s not always protection as I downloaded my contacts back in my device the spyware was sitting in my contacts so .. at this point no fix but this. I wouldn’t worry about What kind of malware you have.

. Shut your phone off go to a different device stay off your phone don’t let it stress you anymore make those phone calls or go online use just use a different device.

Don’t look up phone numbers on your device and make the calls with it Go to the library find a computer call friend do what you gotta do don’t use your device or make appointments for Apple or anything like that.

Could be redirected to a fake Apple could grt worse from there doesn’t matter good luck
