Reinstalling Monterey

Terminal loads at startup. No option to uncheck autoload. Genius Bar said to reinstall Monterey from recovery. However, it stops with a message that internet is required. My wifi is active and I have internet access, except for the reinstall. Help!

monterey installer is noted as bad during download and quits. advises to reload but same result. Any suggestions trying to install Monterey with recently repaired MacBook Pro (circuits replaced by apple). It was loaded with Sierra. attempts to load with Monterey stop advising me that the installer is corrupted and to reload. Several efforts with no results. Any advice appreciated

M1 mba stuck in reinstalling Monterey need some help on reinstalling the Monterey on M1 mba. I bought this second hand, (Previous owner used Monterey's "erase all content and settings" before giving it to me). I started with reinstalling macos Monterey option, it will run for an hour or so, then reboot, then go directly to the Options without need to hold down the power key, then if i continue, will show the 4 options again, if I choose the reinstall macos Monterrey, then ran for an hour, reboot and back to Options. stuck in this loop for several times and cant progress.

Upgrading to Monterey 12.5.1 I have a compatible 2019 Mac Air running Mac OS. Attempting to upgrade to Monterey while installing the latest security updates. When I click on the upgrade button, it takes me to a screen indicating that the Mac must be restarted. Then, nothing happens (for over an hour) plus I cannot exit from the upgrade program to manually restart the system. Additionally, even my shut down is disallowed because of the Monterey upgrade program. I seem to be frozen a bit. Does anyone know what is happening here and how to escape?
