My ASUS external monitor is not showing any display.

Hi everyone! I need help. My macbook pro does not show external display. I've been trying a lot of ideas from web and youtube. But it seems that everything does not work. My MacOS is up to date which is Monterey 12.5.1. And my external display is ASUS, which I used for my Windows laptop. I've never had a problem with it before. Only when I used the monitor on Mac when I encountered this problem. I even bought USB-C to Digital AV multiport adapter for this one, but it's not working. I need another monitor for my job. :(

I’ve got MacBook Pro 13-inch, M2, 2022 with 8GB memory. My ASUS monitor is VH192. The VGA to HDMI cable that I’m using works on my previous Windows Acer laptot. When I bought the Macbook, I also bought their Apple USB-C to Digital AV multiport adapter. It has three ports - USB-C, HDMI and USB. They are all working (I think). It’s just that when I connect the HDMI, I can see that there is external monitor (based on Display on System Preferences), but it says No Signal on the monitor screen. Hence, I am not seeing anything.
