Touch id

I bought a m1 MacBook air this year. My laptop is working perfectly fine. But i don't know why my touch id is not working perfectly sometimes it registers my thumb print immediately but sometimes it takes a lot of time then opens the laptop sometimes i need to press the power button to activate my touch id and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Can anyone help me about this problem

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.5
