Non-Apple Mouse lag on Mac Mini
I've read through a million "lagging mouse" inquires/responses, but most seem to address bluetooth connections and CPU task % issues (so I have tried to research quite a bit).
Details of issue:
- This is regular wireless mouse (not an Apple Magic Mouse)
- There is no lag after I reboot, but within a few hours of use, it will always go back to lagging
- Tried with new wireless mouse and then again with a new wired mouse, but same result
- Not runnng anything extreme on the Mac Mini -- only using browser window (no other software) and limited peripherals (backup drive, printer, wired keyboard, wired mouse, speakers, monitor) -- the peripherals do go through a USB hub.
- The Mac Mini has performed well to date and the issue started ~2 months ago.
- Mac Mini M1 2020 running Monterey 12.5.1 (verified no updates currently to install)
As rebooting solves the issue temporarily, I simply reboot each day before I use it. I gladly welome any thoughts -- TIA!
