Window position after sleep

On a new Mac Studio, there's this annoying macOS "feature" (actually a bug ...) whereby random apps are usually repositioned at the bottom of the screen / possibly resized / and sometimes jump back into their previous location .. when coming out of sleep.

I can be away from my desk for an hour and then I typically observe this behaviour. It is very frickin' annoying to watch apps jump around the screen when coming back to the desktop. None of my brilliant iMacs did/do this, it's only this Mac Studio + external Studio Display that is doing it.

Everything is new, and none of the hardware is damaged etc etc etc. I'm only interested in thoughts on how to solve this problem, not waste my time by talking about reinstalling macOS.

And pursuing a support ticket is just an exercise in frustration. Unless it's an iPhone bug, Apple Support don't ever seem to prioritise other products.
