Taps not registering - iPhone 12 Pro Max

I got my first iPhone last month, 12 Pro Max. I have noticed an issue where in certain situations, taps don't seem to register.

Most of the time the phone works as it should. There are no "dead" areas of the screen, in other words, and I have also removed my screen protector and case to make sure there's nothing blocking any sensors, or anything like that. This is also not an internet speed issue.

if I'm texting people on my phone some keys don't register and when im scrolling it sometimes stops automatically, i found out when i turn my phone off and on again i can keep scrolling again but 5 minutes later the issue forms again and so on...

i also cant typ my password on my phone without having to re-entering it 5 times and i can slide down the control center or slide up to access the home menu in certain situations

i tried resetting my phone to but that didn't work

it's incredibly frustrating so i hope some of you can help men, i'm devastated because i worked for over a month to get this phone and now it doesn't work...
