MIGHTY mouse not switching On even with new AA Batteries

I have an old apple wireless MIGHTY mouse. (Check the pick). I haven't used it for long. By mistake I didnt remove the AA batteries from it and I kept it like that for long time.

Now when I am trying to use it with new AA batteries, it is not detecting the batteries. There is one green blinking LED at mouse's bottom part. It is not blinking at all.

It detected the battaries once and I was able to pair it with my macbook. But next day again same problem. Light is not blinking and not able to pair it with macbook now. Whats causing this problem..?

plz help me to understand the issue.
