FCPX 10.6.4 Transitions

I've tried ALL the suggestions.

Red handles. Yellow handles. Compound clips etc. Even tried reloading 10.6.2.

The same error message appears and still NO TRANSITIONS work???

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG, APPLE?

Final Cut Pro 10.6.9 Transitions are not working properly often when I to drag the transition onto my video nothing happens. I tried the hack for 10.6.2 where you click on you video section then double click on the transition. sometimes this works but not always and specifically my favorite cross disolve isn't working at all. When I insert the cross desolve I can only see a VERY slight split second effect... this example theres absolutely zero effect.not the expected effect that I used extensively in the past. Oddly I drag in the curtin disolve and it works. severely buggy with this latest update

Transition issues show black background and dont seemlessly connect to the next scene Hey guys, I am a new user to Final Cut Pro X and have been learning how to use it mainly from Youtube. I am officially stuck, and I can't seem to find any resources to help me with a transitions issue. When I load a transition on between 2 scenes, they do not interact smoothly/seamlessly. It has a black background in between the interaction which looks very ugly and doesn't blur the 2 scenes together flawlessly. The only way I can describe it is it looks more like a powerpoint slide show where it has a black default background as the pages move (if that makes sense). This is the case for ANY transition I use. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Brad

Logic Pro 10.7.8 causing problems with FaderPort 8 After I updated to Logic Pro X 10.7.8 my Presonus Faderport 8 wasn't functioning properly. After I would press the Marker button the unit completely froze and the display looked like it was having a seizure. Then I would have to Force-Quit Logic Pro and shut the Faderport down. I tried all the troubleshoot procedures for the Faderport but nothing fixed the problem. I tried 2 other DAWs and the Faderport worked just fine. Finally I downgraded to Logic Pro 10.7.7 and everything is working normally. Has anybody else had any similar issues with Logic Pro 10.7.8?
