Macbook - Mail App

Hi everyone,

In iPhone and iPad, in the Mail app, I have my Live and Gmail account in it. Since Gmail is my spam account for advertisement, I disabled notification for my Gmail, while enabled notification for my Outlook for the Mail app. In other words, in the Mail app for iPhone and iPad, I can customise the notification preference for different email accounts.

I am trying to do the same for my Macbook, but could not find the settings. I would like to include my Gmail and Outlook into my Mail app, and disable notification for Gmail but enable notification for Outlook.

Please help. Thank you!

Mac Settings are found by:

clicking the Black Apple icon at left of top menu bar > System Preferences > Notifications & Focus > Notifications

Then scroll down to "Mail" in the sidebar. ... for general notification settings

also see whether your Gmail and Outlook also show up in the sidebar, enabling custom settings for each.

Eg: You may be able to enable notifications in the "Mail" general settings to allow for Outlook,

and yet disable Gmail notifications, as you wish.
