I like to listen to music through my home speakers via Bluetooth. We put music on in the mornings, and let it play for hours and it’s great.
What I’ve always wanted to be able to do, and yet to figure out how, is to let the music play in the background while taking a call, checking on social media, etc. The music always stops and I just want it to keep playing.
Any help here?

Play music on iPhone - Apple Support -- As long as you’re not using an app that requires using the speaker of your iPhone, it should continue in the background. An iPhone or iPad can only provide sound through one app at a time. It should continue to play in the background using other types of apps.

Ok so clearly the answer is “No, that’s not possible”.
of course I can check email, etc.
I would like to be able to play music in the background while doing anything else on my phone. Example, play music through my home speakers while sitting on my deck and flipping through tiktok, insta, FB, take a call, etc. So far, Apple hasn’t provided this technology.
while we’re at it, the latest update STILL doesn’t allow us to schedule text messages. This is more useful than a widget on your Lock Screen.
