iOS 16 Touch Screen Problems

I am also facing the same issue after upadating to IOS 16 after a week my screen suddenly turned green and now its not working my display is showing the green flicker apple service centre says you need to change the display now which costs 30k inr 300+ $ what should i do?

Start saving your money for the repar.

Any news from Apple when are they going to release software fix for ghost touch issue?.

i have iPhoneX . As soon as I updated to ios16.1 from ios16 I started getting this ghost touch issue. Multiple application keeps on opening automatically without touching once unlocked or when on YouTube screen zooms , video moves ahead , another window opens.no This is irritating. Not expected from Apple who sell their phone so expensive and have this critical issue but no action taken or any news released they working on fix.

you can clearly see that it's a common issue and has nothing to do with the user but the buggy software..

I have this same problem, but I've NOT replaced my screen. I have an SE2020 2nd Gen. with iOS 16.1.1. Some of the things happening seem to happen randomly, but my touch screen always freezes when I get a phone call.

I have an iPhone 8 as well, and I am having the same problem as you, and everyone else on this thread, ( I thought I was the only one,) and that I was going crazy or that I was having problems seeing or something. I haven't replaced anything on the phone except the battery and I want to throw my phone when it freezes or displays the wrong letters!

If I were you I'd go back to a previous iOS before it stops working totally.

This ship has already sailed.. iOS 15.7 stopped being signed long ago, this means if you're not already on iOS 15 it's too late to go back..

Since iPad IOS 16, my touch screen has very poor responsiveness across all apps and on the iPad general screen - often needs 4,5, or even 6 taps to work. OSmetimes requires switching to antoher part of the screen to get it going again.

Hard restart doesn’t help.

I have iPhone XS and now using iOS 16.2 still have the same problem. Actually, I reset my iPhone a month ago when it was 16.1 and it seemed OK for a while. Later on, it showed the same symptoms and when I realized there was this newer version of iOS (16.2) I upgraded it. Then it got worse, I again tried reseting it but It did not help. I want an urgent stable solution from Apple. I don't want to buy a new one just because Apple makes me.

iOS16 has caused my iPhone SE (2020) to force me to tap 3 to 5 times any icon or keyboard letter. Often, I had to tap HARD. I removed the screen protector but that did NOTHING to alleviate the touch problem. I even contacted Apple, but as usual, NO ONE replies. Apple has worms.

My iPhone 12 Pro has been terrible after 16.5 update. Touch screen has some serious issue, It open anything randomly, any app gets open and its getting worse for me. The phone has also become a bit laggy. Trash update!

I hope Apple resolves it quickly.

My iPhone 11 touch is not working after updating the software when I went to authorize service center of apple the have not checked any thing said to change the display and after that when I spoke with Apple support I got the same reply then was the use of purchasing the mobile by paying so higher prices very bad.👎👎👎👎👎👎 I think so after this type of behavior I will not purchase apple products it self you have broken my trust.
