ios 16 the display is unresponsive
ios 16, the display responds poorly after updating to ios 16, the display skips and does not respond to touch, what could be the problem? in ios 15.7 everything is ok
iPhone 11, iOS 15

Thanks, but didn't work for me.
I did call Apple support, they adviced checking the updates later this week, for now there is no solution.
Tried to downgrade using some paid service but apple is not allowing it downgrade. They want to me buy new iPhone
ios 16.0.2/3 didn’t fix the issue
Is 16.1 does?
Hurray!😃 ios 16.1 upgrade fixed the my iPhone X issue. Thanks a lot all
Use this instruction to fix it: push once volume up, once volume down, then long hold siri button to switch the iphone off off. then switch on. should help.
check my response in the bottom of this thread
Same here
Hi, iPhone 14 pro max touch screen not working after update the ios 16.2. Even I am not able to swipe up and shut down the phone. Kindly suggest me better solution
16.2 has just caused this issue with my iPhone 13 pro max, the touchscreen hardly works so its really hard to type as it misses half the letters - hopeless! None of these so called fixes work
i have an iPhone 11 and had this issue after ios16-2
I did the volume down, volume up, power off for a minute reset about four times and it eventually worked.
Same issue here iOS 16.2 on iPad Pro 2020. The display is unresponsive with zero physical damage. Support gave me options of trying the reboot or paying $800!
I am having to reset regularly. Frustrating. It feels like something else is running in the background
I have switched off “Find my iPhone” and issue seems to have been sorted.
My problem too! It’s not bricked but I can’t unlock it to even try restore.
