iPhone 13 Pro and Carplay - FINALLY FIXED!

I've tried every possible solution that I could find on loads of forums, and NOTHING worked.

Answer: Use a genuine Apple cable.

I was using an ANKER MFI-certified cable in the car, and everyone (with an iPhone other than a 13 Pro) was connecting immediately/perfectly - so I thought the cable was working fine.

Then I remembered that years ago some Apple devices were VERY twitchy about specific cable connections (back in the iTunes/iMac days). So I tried the Apple cable that came with the phone - and BOOM - worked immediately! UNBELIEVABLE! Come on Apple - this must be a simple fix? MILLIONS of people use after-market cables - hence the whole MFI certification process!
