Airplay sets iPhone volume to max

Whenever I start playing music through airplay the iPhone’s lock sound/volume is set to max volume. This is a known issue that has been repeatedly reported (3x times by me alone now)

Yes, it’s updated. No, it’s not fixed. This is a software problem, not a my-phone problem

Thanks for getting back with us about this, Mindaika.

To confirm, have you updated to iOS 16.0.2 yet? That may help with this behavior. If you've not yet done so, please do that now and test for a resolution: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

    1. "Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
    2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
    3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
    4. Choose the software update that you want to install. You can choose to stay on iOS or iPadOS 15 and still get important security updates. Or you can choose the option to upgrade to iOS or iPadOS 16.
    5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
