Snip it doesn't copy to clipboard
I am able to take a snipit of a portion of my window using shift+cmd+4. It saves onto my desktop but not to my clipboard. I want to be able to paste the snipit to my oneNote or word document
MacBook Air, macOS 12.5

Take a screenshot on your Mac - Apple Support
alternatively :
—Copy it off the Desktop once the screen shot is complete
—Drag and drop the copy where ever you want it
—Try the Shift Command 5>Options
