No more Macintosh HD...

Hi,

I was trying to reset my MacBook Air 15 in order to sell it. I got all my files saved but I've accidentally deleted Macintosh HD.

=> when I was trying to reinstall Mac OS, there is no disk to select...

How can I solve this ?

Thanks,

MacBook Air

This will happen subsequent to upgrading macOS to a version that reformats a startup disk to use APFS, which previous systems do not recognize: File system formats available in Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support.

In Disk Utility, select the storage device indicated below, then erase the disk.

Choose GUID Partition Map and Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

Then, you will be able to reinstall Yosemite.
