I have 2 blank notifications under mediaremote UI that can’t be cleared from my front lock screen. The notifications are literally blank no writing or anything. I don’t have an app called mediaremote or anything. Super confused, only appeared after updating my phone to IOS16, how can I remove them they’re blocking my view of any other notifications

You have to hold down or long press the X for a while, then "clear" pops up and press clear. I just did it and it work.

I found the solution u gotta play a song on spotify or soundcloud and swipe down tap on the box then it will show a x u hold it down and press clear all notifications

If you're unable to clear a notification from Notification Center, you'll want to cover the basics. Restart the device, and if you're still running the original version of iOS 16, make sure you have updated to the current version, 16.0.2.
If the notifications are still unable to be cleared from Notification Center, then you'd want to contact Apple to report that issue: Get Support

restarting worked fine to get rid of the notifications on my iphone 12!
If you hold on the delete button aka the x at the top right it should allow for you to delete it.
Hi I am having the same exact issue. I’m currently running iOS 16.0.2 on iPhone 13 Pro. I tried restarting it and it works for a while but it just comes back up. I don’t know what to do Apple support lives half way across the world and they are useless

You are correct!, I just tried it and it worked, still I believe we shouldn’t have to be getting bugged by notifications like that, who knows what it’s doing in the running in the background. Good Job Kidgirl78 👍🏽
I have no x on screen either, and pressing and holding it like suggested, doesn’t do anything. Restarting does get rid of it but it comes back very quickly, shouldn’t need to constantly restart my phone 😤
I have similar issue
this app keeps popping up every so often , no option to delete it. Restarting phone makes it go but only for a day or so. Can’t find any help about it and apple support are absolutely useless
I found the solution. After upgrading to the new iPhone 14 pro max the notification issue didn’t happen anymore.
I think the issue is getting worse - I now have three blank MediaRemoteUI blocks on my lock screen.
Nope. Only the title disappears but the blank windows are still there.
I did this and now the ‘now playing’ display for when I’m listen to music has disappeared.
