MY MacBook Air stops printing in the middle of printing.

MY MacBook Air stops printing in the middle of printing the document. Mostly, after only one page or two at max the error starts blinking on the printer. The printing queue shows the information that Macbook is sending file to printer. In the meanwhile printer goes idle.

The printer HP P2015 dn is new and there is no problem in the printer. My kinsfolk has window laptop, where the printer works so fine. Please help me out. Due to the same problem, as I attributed this error to printer, I bought the new one. SO, Now I get an idea, the problem lies in Mac machine. Regards

It is macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7. If you think, I should have some specific drivers, plz share the link as well.

If you're unable to print from a Mac, you can try resetting the print system to see if that resolved the issue:


  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners.
  2. Press and hold the Control key as you click in the list at the left, then choose “Reset printing system” from the menu that appears.

After you reset the printing system, the list of printers in Printers & Scanners preferences is empty.

3. Re-add any printers.
