iPad OS 15.7 Update Keeps Asking to Update Apple ID Settings

Team,

After updating my iPad Air 5th Gen to OS 15.7, I keep getting a Red Alert ‘1’ on my Settings App. When opened, it asks for me to ‘update Apple ID Settings, some account services will not be available until you sign in again.’ I do so, the red alert disappears, but when I wake my iPad up again to use it, the red alert ‘1’ keeps popping up on the Settings App. I have tried shutting it down, I have also tried a hard reset, and the issue persists. It won’t go away. All other Apple devices are fully up to date and no issues. iPhone is on 16.0, Watch is on 9.0, Mac is on Monterey 12.6. The iPad is the only issue. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hello drumfreak68,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to dismiss a notification badge on the Settings app on your iPad, as it comes back unexpectedly. Since you are able to follow the steps to dismiss this and this prompt comes back, please contact Apple directly to investigate this further:

Cheers!
