iMessages not deleting across all Apple devices

Hello! I have an iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air M2. I have my imessages synced with the cloud and forwarded to all devices. As a few days ago, if I delete a text on my iPhone it does delete on the iPad and MacBook. BUT if I try to delete a text on the MacBook, it will not delete my text on my iPhone. The same goes for the iPad….delete a text on the ipad it will not delete on the iPhone. I have tried 3 times turning off iMessage and signing out of iCloud, and restarting all devices with no luck. Is this a bug with iOS 16? Or does anybody have a solution for me? I would greatly appreciate it as it is interrupting my work flow.

MacBook Air, macOS 12.6

Greetings, babygapboo.

If messages aren’t syncing across your devices, review the following information to ensure that you have Messages enabled as expected.

“On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap iCloud.
  4. Turn on Messages.”

“On your Mac

  1. Open Messages.
  2. In the menu bar, choose Messages > Preferences.
  3. Click iMessage.
  4. Select the checkbox next to Enable Messages in iCloud.” Use Messages in iCloud

If iCloud Messages are enabled on each device, and the issue continues Contact Apple Support.

We hope this helps to further isolate and resolve the issue to get messages syncing across your devices.

Best wishes.
