On Find My app AirPods Pro give error of “AirPods Setup Incomplete”

I tried out solutions with they give there but nothing worked.

Also, after resetting the AirPods when I connected them to my Apple ID, it doesn’t show my name on the AirPods. Which makes me wonder if they are even connecting to my id. But when I connect them to another person’s iPhone, they show their name but the setup incomplete error still shows up.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hey there rishminhas,

That's definitely not expected, especially since you've already paired your device with your AirPods. We'd like to rule out some possible causes next. Please work through the steps in the following resource that addresses this issue that you're having:

  1. "Update to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Some AirPods and some Find My features work only with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
  2. If you haven't, turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple ID.
  3. If you haven't, turn on iCloud Keychain.
  4. In the Settings app, tap Bluetooth and make sure that it's turned on.
  5. Close the lid of your charging case, wait a few moments, then open the lid again."

If you get an alert in the Find My app that your AirPods setup is incomplete - Apple Support

If the same issue is still occurring, we recommend letting Apple Support know what's been tried as they'll best be able to further assist with this: Get Support

Cheers!
