Why does Apple not accept 2021 MacBookPro 14" for trade in?
I purchased a MacBookPro 14" with the M1 Pro CPU in 2021. I would like to purchase a new MacBookPro 13" with the M2 chip now, and would like to trade in my MBPro14. But the trade-in process:
Who built it? Apple
Serial Number A1B234RCD56
Model: MacBookPro
Year: (see attached picture)
Why is there no "2021"? My "About this Mac" dialog claims: "MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021)"
PowerOn and itsworthmore.com both allow me to select my specific computer (MBPro, 14", M1, 2021) and give me a quote. But not . Apparently Apple doesn't want to take any back.
I prefer trading in my Apple machines to Apple directly. Perhaps I should rethink that.
Thanks,
Karl
