Same issue, microphone not working at all. Airpods pro 2nd, Win11.

Yes it worked! Been using them now for a few hours no problem. I would first try to hard forget and remove the AirPods from the device manager. Then try to reconnect and follow the steps I did above

This sounds great, thank you. I have installed the new Windows updates, but please explain how you "removed AirPopds Pro drivers" after that.... I see three drivers in Device Manager: Headphones (My AirPods Pro), Headset (My AirPods Pro Hands-Free) and Headset (My AirPods Pro). Which did you delete?

Thanks for the response and the detailed instructions.

I actually have been trying these exact steps and then the mic seems to start working.

However, the moment I reboot the pc the problem recurs all over again. So wanted to ask, does this solution work for you if you reboot the pc post a successful setup?

How do you hard forget a device, do you go under device manager then bluetooth then uninstall the airpods pro part? I tried that but its still wouldn't work :’)

I only have one input device and it is from the airpods pro but it shows no input at all. But my normal airpods mic works fine on this pc and my airpods pro mic work fine with other devices.

Ya i meant to say what you saying and i did try but it still wouldnt work and yes i will look into the reddit posts thank you
