Hi Ben _Z1
Thanks for the reply.
I keep the MacBook air regularly updated, I have just updated to Monterey 12.6.
I am talking about the dock on the MacBook air and I don't know about handoff on Mac so haven't set it up, unless it happens automatically?
I just tried again by starting an email, minimising it so it goes to drafts, then writing another line and letting it go back to drafts. Then I sent it, so it is no longer in drafts but now I have 2 fragments in my doc, please see attached screenshot of my dock. The two docs to the immediate left of the bin are the fragments I am talking about. They go there and I have to click on them one at a time. One will open as the first draft saved and the other is the second draft saved.
Then I have to click on 'do not save' in order to get rid of them even though when I go into mail there is no sign of them, they are no longer in the drafts folder. On a busy work day I can end up with 20 of them - it has been happening on & off since I got this MacBook Air in mid 2020 but is getting worse.
I cannot find any settings to change to stop it and it is annoying to have to close so many documents every day.
Do you have any suggestions of what I can do to stop it?
Thanks for your help
