Hi,

An HP OfficeJet 3830 All-In-One Printer is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model with support for the driverless AirPrint technology. An AirPrint-enabled model is compatible with iOS and can be used without the need for extra apps, provided that the printer and the iPhone are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If there is a discovery problem with AirPrint, you could try the following full procedure (in this order):

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the iPhone, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPhone. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
